Good as TWINE is, it is far from flawless. FRWL, on the other hand, is flawless.

The Brosnan followers are making this one a closer match than expected. The World is not Enough is a great bond film and I like Brosnan a lot in it, but come on its going up against From Russia With Love

I'm shocked. FRWL is only up by a few. This would be a major upset.
I'd say TWINE was about as close to a modern-day FRWL as you get. It was pretty basic. No space weapons, no CGI and a "conservative director." But still, FRWL was a perfect spy movie. It's simplicity far outweighs that of TWINE. As much as I'd love to vote for TWINE, I just can't. FRWL is Bond at his best.

Well well. I'm kinda glad it was close because I think TWINE's underrated as a Bond movie. But the right film won.
