Bana's Publicist Says He Hasn't Been Approached for 007

Even though News of The World and AICN are confident that Bana is the next Bond, someone might want to inform Eric of that. According to an article in tomorrow's The Australian:

Bana's publicist told The Australian the actor had "not even been approached" for the role. The Los Angeles-based Staci Wolfe - who also talks the talk for actors Kevin Spacey and Tom Arnold - said the speculation started while Bana was on the promotional tour for Troy."

So either the agent is telling a little white lie to preserve client confidentiality or Bana is not the new Bond. I think Jackman's agent denied it too but based on all I was told blah blah blah Jackman has signed.

Oh well, no Hulk as Bond. I am pretty upset. Will need to lie-down for a few days

The way things are going, by next week an article will feature Bana in a tuxedo and a tabloid saying that he has signed for Bond.

Now, when I return, I will come to this site and find such interesting threads (as this one) that discuss how so and so signed up to be Bond, and then another thread saying nono, this person is, and then another sayin that Brosnan is back, and so on. However, I think we are far from the actual Bond! So just sit down and relax a bit!

It seems in two months time we should have a Director confirmed as well as a Bond according to Eon.
