Fight for the Favorite
I just took the four movies that seem to have many people putting att he top of thier list for thier favorite Bond movie. I just thought I would sneak them all together so that you can vote for your favorite.

Wow is all I can say here. Its a really close call as these films could all be argued as the number one Bond film very well IMO. Nevertheless, I too follow the pack with FRWL, a tight story thats cleverly adapted, a Bond performance that encompasses charm and ruthlessness, suspense, trendsetting action and gadgets, and its my favorite movie.

I feel it is appropriate to compare the films, however, in my opinion, there are very few flaws between the three of them. FRWL has the kind of story that you need to remain involved with, other wise you will end up completely lost in it, but once you do pay attention to it, it really is incredible. Goldfinger, as much as it is talked about, it really isn't over rated, as many folks say it is. The song is great, the characters are great and well preformed, and the plot is ingenious (even if it does lack SPECTRE)
OHMSS has some of the best preformances by the MI6 staff, for the first time. The bond girl is probably the best. The only thing that really could have been improved here is that perhaps a little of the movie could have been chopped down, to make it move just a tad faster, however that doesn't take away from the enjoyability of the film. Goldeneye is a really nice bounce back to the Connery Era, and it does a great job introducing Brosnan. The music is rather shabby, and perhaps many of the flaws of the movie are very noticiable, but here we see a great villain, a great Bond girl, a great henchmen, (two actually) and a very satisfying ending. Looking at the series, it really wouldn't hurt to have Campbell direct another one, just so long as he can clean up the mistakes a bit. Overall, these movies definately make it on to my top ten list.

I almost put DAF on there because it was one of my favorites, however, i know many people don't like it, and those four seemed more popular.

The only Bond film I didnt see in this list that I have found (maybe not anymore) tops alot of lists is The Spy Who Loved Me. I'm kind of surprised it was not included in this poll.

I must say, I am rather surprised that NO ONE has voted for OHMSS. I would have guessed that topped more lists than any of the other movies.
Will, good point. Please, if there is a mod or adm pressent, add The Spy Who Loved Me to the poll. ![]()
