Johnny English is back

There's a another Rowan Atkinson movie about Secret Service' worst agent coming out in August; Johnny English Reborn. And this time he has Pierce Brosnan and Rosamund Pike on board. Could this be the definitive Bond parody? I loved the first one, and judging by the trailer this one looks even better.

Ah, didn't know Brosnan was in it too. I enjoyed the first one too, I'd like to see this. In fact, I think I might watch the original again soon...

So is it recommended that I see the first? I remember when it came out I thought it looked a bit too silly for my taste. But I may reconsider now!

I never saw the first one. It looked awful. Is it something we should see? Is it actually any good? funny?

It's actually very good. The screenplay's by Purvis & Wade, and Rowan Atkinson is one of the greatest comedians in the world, so as a Bond fan I would say that it's a must-see. Judging from the trailer the second one looks good too.

Just caught the trailer for it glad he's back, That wheelchair chase looks funny, at least we have another comedy spy spoof series film .Hopefully A. Powers would make another return. Brosnan and Pike again another Bond-ing of old friends. Perhaps he will play the villain ?

I'll have to give it a watching. I wish they would continue making the Austin Powers movies, I loved those!

I think Johnny English is a bit of a Marmite- you either love it or hate it. Some find it ridiculously and annoyingly silly; others, like myself, find it very funny and can appeal to a broad range of ages and backgrounds. I don't know how closely the sequel will follow the plot of the first, but if for no other reason I'd suggest seeing the original to see if it is your sense of humour

I did, then it sort of became so overdone that I got annoyed. I know it was only three movies, but I don't know... I think three was enough!

When faced with larger-than-life gadgets, villains and situations, he must take all of this in his stride, keep calm and carry on, and, no matter how difficult the situation is, he must not only pull through but ultimately come out on top
