Who should be the next actor to don the tuxedo?

This poll will stay open, and if the person you want for Bond isn't on the list, just reply with his name, and we will keep a running total of the votes for other actors not on the poll here in the thread.

The list will constantly grow here in the thread as other unkowns become future candidates.

I think Russell Crowe should. He's a great actor, I'm looking forward to seeing his performance in Maser and Commander.

Russell Crowe would be ok but its going to be hard foir me to see him go from a pirate to 007.Personally I want to see M's right Hand man prmoted to 007.

He would be good but what if he does another X men movie and a Bond movie wants to start filming so he does one bond film and then he cant do a second.

I would like to see Gerard Butler, but if hes in that banned list then hopefully they'll forgive him.

The poll list came from the list of people who have won internet polls. Each person on the list has won one or more polls on the internet conducted by main sites on the next Bond issue. That is how I got the names. It wouldn't be fair to leave off anyone.

The point isn't to make fun of the names, the point is to say these are all the popular choices among the whole public and for us to vote on who we want. And Robbie Williams, although yes very funny, has won more polls than anyone.

So have Paul Walker, The Rock, Keanu, etc., all won various polls.....

Also, Mathew Perry has been rumored as MGM's favorite since 1997, so................

I voted for Bale myself.

I guess you guys didn't realize how many people are actually voted for by people. That's why they are all on the lists, so that real Bond fans like us can sample that whole list then vote who we think is really worthy.

I am not saying that I think The Rock or Paul Walker, or whomever should be Bond, I am just trying to approach this from the side of MGM of random elimination of all possibilities.

The poll isn't meant to be humorous, just thorough and broad. Let's face it, this method of using everyone who has won a poll makes this the most complete poll of this kind on the net.

Hugh Jackman might make a good Bond. I would rather prefer Matt Le Blanc, but he isn't up there......

I noticed Sean Bean up in the list. Are you crazy?!?! He played Trevelian in Goldeneye, to see a villiain that died return as a Bond.........
