Judging by what we've heard so far, and what I've read in the Empire special on Skyfall and the 50th Anniversary, I have a few predictions based on the following appetisers:

M.G Wilson has apparently said Skyfall "is about Bond defending MI6, the country and the realm"

"[Empire's] educated guess that Silva's MO (whatever that means- I always took that to mean Medical Officer...) has something to do with computers and the control of information"

"Empire also sense strains of Licence to Kill and You Only Live Twice"

Quotes Mendes "we were pushing... the personal history of the character"

Based on this, as well as other coverage with Craig saying we get to explore the other characters around Bond; that M has a key role in the film; and the allegedly close and personal relationship between Bond and Silva, I predict Skyfall will have the following plot:

After a pre-titles sequence filmed in Turkey, we will see Silva and his henchmen/women infiltrate MI6 and kill several MI6 agents with a bomb, then escape. Later (for whatever reason) Bond and M discuss Bond's past at Skyfall Lodge, only for them to be again located by Silva, and M to be kidnapped and held hostage, meaning Albert Finney needs to (at least temporarily) take her place. It is revealed that Silva has previously been a victim of Bond's before, so has a vendetta against Bond and MI6. It is also revealed that Silva was able to penetrate MI6 so easily because of his (or his henchmen's) ability to find out crucial information about MI6. Silva may well then be planning to sell the information MI6 has amassed whilst in Shanghai, while Bond is tracking him down. (end of prediction)

I think Purvis, Wade and the rest may well have chosen a plot based on the world's increasing reliance on computers and the vulnerability this exposes (cyber warfare/ hacking into American government sites/ loss of information on discs in the UK). Broccoli has said that they try to consider a threat the world is afraid of, with cyber warfare quite a relevant challenge for today.

The personal dilemma Bond would be put in by M getting kidnapped may well reflect the LTK element spotted by Empire, as Bond is partly motivated by his personal relationship (with Leiter in LTK and M in Skyfall) as well as his duty. Wilson's reference to defence of MI6, the country and realm may well refer to all the secret information MI6 has stashed away on the government, royal family, the public, terrorists, as well as MI6's own credibility that is under threat thanks to Silva. The YOLT reference probably alludes to the Far Eastern settings.

I may be completely wrong, but whilst I was reading and thinking, the above thoughts sprung to mind....

It is sounding like especially from what we heard from the few who have seen the trailer that Skyfall may be some past or current operation that Bond possibly failed at and in someway haunting M also.

This from a call sheet that was posted for sale on E-Bay last month just got the details of which were available.......Bardem as Raul Silva we already know.

1. The name of the villain played by Javier Bardem is Silva.

2. There’s a sequence where, in M’s car, “Tanner learns somebody is accessing The Flash Drive.” Then, “The car is stopped by security. M climbs out angry.” At the Vauxhall Bridge, “M yells at the bridge guards…Boom.”

3. At a Macao hotel, “Eve shaves Bond.”

4. In a later scene, “Silva is excited as he sees M & Kincade.”

5. In a scene set in Scotland, Bond and M have a drink and “Bond tells of his childhood.”

6. There’s a car chase, which includes a “bogus police Land Rover.”

7. Ola Rapace is playing Patrice

Scans of the French Magazine Studio Ciné Live http://commander-james-bond.netne.ne...=211&start=460

have provided us with some brand new official images of James Bond in Sam Mendes' Skyfall. Also, revealing highlights from the article.

- The costume designer Jany Temine wants to modernize James Bond while retaining him an old school side (maybe like she did for the third Harry Potter?)

- The movie will film in Scotland, in Shanghai, Turkey AND Macau

- A scene of "crash" would be expected for the sequence of the subway.

- The journalist witnessed the shooting of a scene: the arrival of James Bond in a floating casino in Macao (I think the dragons we saw on the picture of Pinewood come from this set)

- For the scene in the set with the glasses and the neon lights that we saw in the videos and the first official image, the idea is to multiply Bond's reflection. The designer wanted that decor to reflect both the spirit of James Bond and what he saw. And here, Bond must appear as a character back from the dead.

- Sam Mendes promises they never pushed the character in such limits

- The scene of Macau: Bond leaves his hotel room and goes to the casino by boat (he is standing on the boat, dressed in a tuxedo). The boat passes between the two dragon heads and a firework is fired. The scene has a certain gravity and Mendes put a mysterious depth in it. The journalist said that the casino "looks like a kingdom of the dead"

- Mendes doesn't say "Bond girl" but "James Bond ladies"

- Jany Temine said that Berenice's character would be a "bad girl" so she wanted to dress her like a "femme fatale". But Berenice does not answer clearly to the question of which side belongs her character (she must be ambiguous, not completely bad)

- Sam Mendes loves Casino Royale and Daniel Craig, because for the first time since Connery, the character of Bond was no longer outside the action and the film wasn't ironic about the hero. He also learned the codes of the series and wants to bring things that has never been seen before.

- Mendes confirms the return of some iconic characters of the saga (so Q is not the only one). He also confirms he wants to bring more humor than in the last two movies. He wants to explore the roots of the MI6, as to make a loop with Dr No (probably for the 50th anniversary)

- And finally, Mendes reveals some thematics of SkyFall: what changed in fifty years? Should the MI6 evolve or stay as it was fifty years ago? Who are the new enemies of the XXI century? Who is Q : an inventor of gadgets that have become increasingly importants or a man who invents new ways to kill people?

Sony showed a 4 minute SKYFALL trailer in Spain recently and most guests had to sign a non disclosure paper this is from someone who claims to have seen it. This is what was revealed in the 4 min trailer by a poster at IMDB

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1074638/...read/200617536

Clocked it at around 4minutesish.

Can't contain my excitement. It looks SO good! There's so much new stuff! Can't remember everything but I'll try, don't expect these to be in order...

Extended Bond training, lovely shots of him swimming in a pool.
Bond and M driving in the DB5, M's saying something about being on the run, and they need to be as far away as possible.
Bond running and shooting in a building.
Bond in a tux, getting thrown across a room.
Bond telling M that people are coming to kill them (This was in the teaser, but it showed a reaction shot from M)
Bond in a casino of some sort, brushing past a very beautiful woman.
M SHOOTING A GUN! I think it was the P99!
Javier Bardem walking towards a burning building.
Ralph Fiennes saying something about conspiracy and M's up to her neck in it.
An AMAZZZING shot of Bond throwing himself onto the back of a train, then falling off the side and hanging on.
Bond running away from an expolosion in scotland.
A woman looking out at a window, thats been shot out (from the trailer)
Bond running through a tunnel, looks like it's on fire behind him.
Ben Whilshaw as Q! Informing Bond about changes to his DB5. Then it shows Bond and M in what looks like a disused warehouse, with the Aston. Q saying that it has a gps system, and a system link to Tanner, so he can keep in touch with them. (Looks like Tanner is staying behind, and secretly helping them)
Bond fighting a guy underwater.
Niomie Harris' character driving a jeep, and avoiding loads of cars falling off a train.
Bond running along the top of a train.
Shot of the DB5 firing a missile(!)
M looking at 8 coffins.
Bond walking through Trafalgar Square looking pissed off.
Javier Bardem in what looks like a really old building, in the dark.
Bond throwing loads of punches. (loads of shots like this, but they all look awesome)
Bond getting thrown into water, and then it shows a close up of his hands and face, bubbles coming out of his mouth.
Bond fighting a guy from the teaser in that office building. Bond got headbutted.
Bond in this really well lit room, looking over a dead man in a chair.
Bond holding Niomie Harris in front of her, kissing her neck and her smiling.
MI6 HQ blowing up and M getting thrown back.
Bond and M in front of the DB5, and Bond pouring them both a drink.
Bond turning around and firing a gun.
A Bloody Bond walking away from someone in the background.
A train coming through a ceiling.
Bond taking out his gun and attatching a silencer.
Bond on a really colourful motorway.
A woman kissing Bond on a boat, just after Bond walks up to her.
Bond opening a door with his gun arm raised.
DB5 skidding round a corner.
Dramatic shot of Judi Dench with ash on her face, standing outside in snow.
A train going over a bridge and blowing up, Bond jumping off it in slow motion.

The title bit is amazing! Bond turns and shoots at the screen, wearing a suit. A gunbarrel forms around him and spins. Bond walks slowly toward us, with his gun at his side, through the gunbarrel (like the teaser poster)

The dialogue, i can't remember much of, it all went over me. There's bits and pieces of it. Bond introduces himself though! "Bond James Bond." I think he's saying it to Bardem. The music is about 3 minutes worth of that electronic Bond theme from the teaser, new mix then it turns into a fully orchestral Bond theme. It sounded very nice.

I got back from holiday yesterday, hoping that a new Skyfall trailer would be waiting for me- I'm disappointed that there isn't. All that's changed since I left is that Kleinman is back for the credits and we've seen a picture of Whishaw as Q. I'm glad to hear it, but was hoping there would have been more by now...

We'll see. I am hopeful. To me, he looks like a nerdy tech that would be doing what Q does in modern times. I feel like Skyfall is gonna be a very up to date and "real" like type of movie. A lot like the Nolan Batman movies.

There is some talk of Nolan possibly doing Bond in the future would be interesting to see his take on it.

'Skyfall' Secrets Revealed in Special 007 Issue

Plot details of the new James Bond movie Skyfall starring Daniel Craig have been tightly sealed For Your Eyes Only, but now a few Diamonds of information may give you a Quantum of Solace until the November release of the highly anticipated thriller. Read on for a few spoilers…

The new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands Friday, features Sean Connery on the cover -- alongside fellow 007s Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore, George Lazenby and Craig -- and features 26 pages devoted to Her Majesty's most enduring spy as he celebrates his golden anniversary (the franchise started in 1962 with Dr. No).

The issue also includes a sneak peek at Skyfall, with **SPOILER ALERT** details revealed by director Sam Mendes and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli: Javier Bardem's villain, Silva, "knows a bit about M (played by Judi Dench) and MI6" and "is involved in a revenge," says Wilson, while Broccoli reveals that Albert Finney plays a mysterious character "from Bond's past." Rumors have also floated that M will die and be replaced by a government agent played by another Bond newcomer, Ralph Fiennes, but are they true?

"She is a central part of the plot, and MI6 is a central part of the plot," is all Mendes will reveal. "And London is a central character in the movie. There's a huge sequence in the middle that is very much set right in the middle of London."

Talking about taking on the epic scale of a Bond movie -- and the third turn for Craig -- Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road) says, "I came from smaller movies. I’ve done movies on a bigger scale, but not as big a scale as this. … It's weird because you come in and someone has already explored the role, and so you're not in that position of starting on equal footing. But I was very clear about what I felt he hadn't yet done. We thought exactly the same about where the character could be taken."

Mendes also humors the question by EW of whether or not Craig is "presented as a hot individual in this film," saying, "How can you not present him as a hot individual? He is a hot individual! You mean, are there any bod shots? How can I put this? Yes, I guess there are moments when he is [hot], absolutely. But the truth is… It's tied in… There's a reason in the story why…I can't say!"

Among the other tidbits included for fans and Bond-philes alike in the new EW are a guide to all 22 Bond movies so far, a map to the Bond Universe, a behind-the-scenes photo gallery, and a Q&A with George Lazenby, who reveals, "They offered me millions under the table to do another one, but I thought James Bond was over."

WARNING MAJOR SPOILERS ::: SKYFALL Screening Review

PLEASE BY ALL MEANS READ THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This is from an IMDB poster who was invited to a screening of Skyfall. Shortly after posting this it was deleted from the IMDB site. It sound pretty legit. And an early review of the film. Someone saved the original post and linked it here below.

Download it here also if desired>>>>>>>>http://www.datafilehost.com/download-23e0fb5c.html

quote from 'lizze-sandy81' on Sep 3rd 2012...

I just got back from a Skyfall screening in London! Me and a few other people were asked to attend a test screening. Ive attempted a review. I hope you enjoy.

Take the bloody shot Judi Dench blasts as James Bond is thrown off the side of a train and into the murky depths below. Is this the end of James Bond, hell no it isnt. As this scene is just the start of the film, and the conclusion to a whopping 25 minute pre title sequence which takes James Bond to Turkey. Im sure you are all thinking that 25 minutes is far too long for a pre title sequence, but the whole thing is pitch perfect and after the brilliant addition of the iconic James Bond gunbarrel sequence, which involves our hero dressed in an open necked tuxedo walking briskly onto the screen, with the brilliant Casino Royale gunbarrel design, opening up a stunning shot of the Turkey skyline, which sets the tone for the fantastic cinematography in this film. Its honestly the best looking Bond film ever.

Unfortunately the soundtrack is not finished yet, so incidental music was used for the entire film, in this case, the Tomorrow Never Dies gunbarrel music), the opening titles werent finished either, some dancing girls, fire, blood but pretty much just a green sceen and used music from the OHMSS titles.

The one thing that is evident though, is that Daniel Craig just owns James Bond. He is perfect in the role. Delivering every line with dangerous solidarity and just total awesomeness. He is way comfortable in this role, and it shows in this flawless performance. We actually get under the skin of the character more so than in Casino Royale.

This, in the most possible way, feels like a classic Bond movie, but at the same time very different. We even get a darker off the rails Bond, as hes enjoying his freedom from the service before returning to Ms aid. We see Bond, funnily enough, smoking a cigar in a run down bar. Lovely nod to Die Another Day, but the highlight of the scene involves Bond nearly getting bitten by a scorpion during a rather sadistic drinking game.

Sam Mendes definitely understands what hes doing here. I admit originally I had doubts, we know what happens when drama directors get a shot at Bond, especially Michael Apted, but for the first time since Casino Royale, the films action is doesnt feel pointless and moves the plot along smoothly.

Javier Bardem is just totally creepy as Silva, easily the best Bond villain since well Goldfinger. He has shades of Francisco Scramanga and Max Zorin for that matter, who were both very good villains, but I dont even know if I can call him a villain. I totally understand his plan, I feel for the guy. The first time in history that Ive actually felt sorry for the Bond villain. He is the same as Bond, they experience the same thing, but the difference between both of them is how they handle certain situations. Theres a lovely scene involving Silva in an isolation chamber, and Silva tells Bond that he might be loyal to her majesty but if he knew half of the deceit and betrayal going on in this stupid little county then he wouldnt think twice in joining him. Bond replies with Try me., and Silva delivers one of the most chilling lines in the entire movie Oh now now now James. I never spoil surprises,. but I wont deny that soon enough you will wonder whether youre fighting for the right side.

His plan involves murdering M, played by Judi Dench after her being responsible for the death of his, and Bonds parents during an operation gone wrong. If you think thats the only part of the story, think again. I dont want to spoil the film too much, but the plot is very very well told, and theres so much more to Silva that I dont want to discuss in risk of ruining everything. M has so much screen time in this, and one scene in particular she is in the thick of the action and the tension is unbearable. Ive always loved Judi Dench, and I dare say she is one of the best things about this film. I would go so far to say shes the highlight of it. M is so much more than everyone else thinks, Im not going to disclose the fact whether is stays good or not, but the entire film is fantastic, in the way that we find out her backstory, and about the loss of her husband, and some of the inner turmoil shes experiencing brilliantly unfolds to make this one of the most character driven Bond films of recent times. Theres a lovely scene around 2 hours in, involving M waking up in the Aston Martin DB5, without Bond at the steering wheel, it turns out that Bond is outside, looking over Scotland, Bond pours both of them a drink and they talk about Bonds childhood, and the loss of his parents, and just what has made him into such a cold blooded killer.

The last half an hour is by far the most emotionally draining and action packed aspect of the entire film. Infact, any Bond film. I can officially say that I have never cried during any James Bond film. I came close with the death of Bonds wife in OHMSS, but never have I ever had a near emotional breakdown. Until now.. theres a major event in this one, that will pretty much make your mouth drop. It is SO unexpected and brilliantly acted. It wasnt happy tears either. I nearly lost it. Im so happy that I kept myself contained, but I wont deny that the tears were rolling down my face.

Theres just so much that I havent covered. Everything is near perfect. A massive shame that soundtrack wasnt finished, though. So we pretty much had music from the last few Bond films, but I didnt mind really. Everything in this film is so great. Theres no brooding Bond anymore. Well, not brooding over Vesper anyway. The thing that struck me about this film is that its laugh out loud funny at times. The dialogue is crisp and genuinely funny, but it still manages to keep in touch with Daniel Craigs incarnation of Bond. The best way I can describe it is that its a black comedy drama film, with brilliant action and fantastic performances.

Ralph Fiennes is brilliant, hes one of my favourite actors anyway, and for him to be in a Bond film is just a bonus for me. Theres been rumours floating around the internet and its more or less confirmed that he is indeed the new M, Theres a scene right at the end, before the final scene where Bond meets him, in a new office that LOOKS LIKE THE OLD MS OFFICE, and the scene is fantastic. Sets up Bond 24 perfectly (by which I mean the Bond and M relationship. Not the plot) The scene reminded me a lot of Judis first scene in GoldenEye.

Casting Ben Whilshaw as Q was a very good idea. He has a lot of screentime in this one. More than I was actually expecting. He's there for a really long time, popping up in different places. Not a bad thing either. I was actually very surprised by the amount of chemistry that Ben and Daniel have. They just bounce off eachother totally. Trying to get the upper hand and insult eachother. Brilliantly written.

However, there are some gripes I had with it. The film is nearly 3 hours long, and theres too much talking in some scenes, BUT thats just me. I just wanted Bond back in action, Its not a bad thing,. The thing I didnt like though was Naomi Harris. Her acting is really bad in some scenes and her performance really does drag the film down. However, I guess Ill have to get used to her since I have a feeling we will be seeing more of her in future. I wasnt too keen on Berenice Marhole either. Her acting was fine, but there was something about her that was too Vesper. I cant explain it. She is by no means terrible, but there are definitely shades of a darker Eva Green in there.

Overall though, to quote Mr Craig himself. This is definitely Bond with a capital B. Everything is there. The DB5 (with gadgets!), cool Bond moments (Bond strangling a guy with his bowtie, then putting it back on) beautiful cinematography (Honestly, the best ever) and the best thing, FINALLY a Bond villain that youre scared by. Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Javier Bardem are definitely the highlights of the movie. This is definitely the Bond film youve been waiting for. I just cannot wait to see it again. I really want to go back and watch it a good few more times.

I'am one for spoilers also , but can still see the movie and enjoy it anyway.

This sounds so credible and EON has always had test screenings to edit and redo certian parts of the films before release, this goes back to where Cubby and Harry wore hats in earlier Bond film screenings to watch audience reactions to some of the earlier Bond films at least the tradition is still alive.

There is some stuff about Silva's demise coming also on just how Bond kills him..........

There's rumors about MUSE and Craig on Saturday Night Live and them doing the theme song also......

This is looking like Craig's Spy Who Loved Me...............We will see.
