Sony Confirms BOND 24 for 2014

Sony was granted the distribution rights to Bond 23 & 24 from the deal worked out last year in the MGM restructure.

So it's looking like November 2014 ? At least we have a new Bond film date and a new film on the way..........


Tonight was Sony Pictures' chance to shine at CinemaCon with an impressive 45-minute sizzle reel of their upcoming 2012 line-up with the high point being the first time anyone had a chance to see any footage from the upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall, in this case the very first teaser trailer. Before we got to watch it, Sony's President of Worldwide Distribution Rory Bruer talked about Sony's slate for 2013 and beyond and confirmed that James Bond would indeed be back in 2014 with the 24th movie in the franchise and the follow-up to Skyfall.

They are officially starting the filming on 11/22/2013 in Guadalajara,Mexico
Guadalajara Cathedral and The Rotonda will feature as locations.You should be getting a call at Station M bond 007............

Well all in all we are back on the famous Bond every 2 year film schedule again .....

Empire Magazine; Given the enormously positive reaction to Skyfall from both critics and audiences (the film is already breaking box office records here in the UK),it figures that at least one of the people involved, co-writer John Logan, would already be at work figuring out James Bond’s next step. Apparently, he’s ahead of us all and has sold a pitch to Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson for a two-part tale.

With Daniel Craig signed for two more movies, the path is clear for Eon productions to begin shaping the next films around him once more, with the first due in 2014.

Nothing is yet known about the plot of the films, but they’re said to be a linked, original tale. Naturally, we’d expect the usual quota of girls, guns and exotic locations. And… Well, to say any more would be to spoil something of Skyfall, so we’ll speculate no further.

Could this be John Logan's way of giving us a reboot of Blofeld ? or finally dealing with The Quantum Organization.
If we see a Bond 24 in 2014 that means filming will start late next year around this time .I hear he will be doing a film for George Clooney about some WW2 thingy which filming starts this March ,Looks like he will be busy.........

I wonder if they'll tweak Blofeld to become head of Quantum instead... Either way, I think they've got to bring Quantum back in Bond 24, otherwise it would just be messy for Bond to have found out all about Quantum in QoS, only for him to never use that knowledge on screen!
