One major error in the story: The Jame Bond Theme was not written by John Barry, but by Monty Norman. Watch Inside Dr. No, where Norman explains the origin of the Theme.

I noticed that also, but I don't think Sallinger or many fans ever knew the real story till years later and a couple of court battles later ruling in favor of Norman. But the James Bond theme music was arranged and perfected by Barry with Norman always being credited in the films as the writer.
