What's the verdict?

Not to be a prophet of doom but I have fairly mixed feelings. Of course it's very exciting getting the teaser, but it's not all positive from me. I think it looks a very picturesque film, with impressive sets and location work in London and Shanghai. The look of some of the London sets, particularly the firing range, are very much what I pictured Fleming's Bond world to look like. The firing range also encouraged a bit of excitement about Q's return...

However, it all seems pretty dark (again), but I'm hoping it's a bit lighter than the trailer implies. Also WHAT ON EARTH HAS BOND GOT ON HIS FACE WHEN HE'S WITH EVE?!

We don't get much dialogue to play with, which is a shame, but little we do hear sounds good.

Overall I'd describe the trailer as intriguing and very Fleming in tone- in terms of intrigue, London location, gritty sets, and the psychological test reminds me of TMWTGG.

Well, I must say it is visually stunning! Deakins photography is wonderful! I loved it, certainly more like the novels...

And I believe that's Eve shaving Bond... and the white stuff must be shaving cream...

On the BBC 1 Premiere Broadcast early this morning after the debut of the trailer they were in the studio and Michael G. Wilson brought along the original Golden Gun and the hosts were handling it with White gloves.

Wilson also said the usual stuff about the series and the 50th anniversary and other questions from the BBC hosts. A few things he did point out was that there is still another week of work in the studio and film has not finished filming completly and asked how long is the film Wilson said it's longer than the last Bond film meaning "QoS" but not an exact length of the film.

Excellent Bond teaser and that's what it did just tease ,Wish it would of had some old Bond style music in it there is a hint of some new music at the beginning. It does have great visuals and suspence in the old Bond style tradition. They definately have this plot wrapped too tight....

That shot of Craig falling into the water wonder if that's from the P.T.S. scenes at the Varda Railway Bridge in Turkey and the beginning of the Opening song/titles ?

Also liking that mysterious shot Tom has on the main page with the guy in the chair and Craig with PPK out very spooky stuff somewhat why are these agents being killed ?

we need some more screens from the trailer it is fast paced....

I heard that it was a strong possibility on Aug 3rd a friday shown ahead of The TOTAL RECALL remake .The only other early big Sony release is July 3rd for THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN which may be a lil early for it......

The last one with losing the drive might be in reference to the pretitle scenes in Istanbul with Bond losing the drive or some bad mishap that lays him up for a few months might also explain the beard...?
