Alpine Adventure by George Lazenby!?

I recently purchased a book title 'Alpine Adventure' by non other then George Lazenby. Can anyone shed light on this book? Is it by the Bond George Lazenby? It was first published in 1963 by Victory Press - London and Eastbourne which seems rather odd because its before On Her Majesty's Secret Service was filmed and when George Lazenby was truly an unknown?

Even though it wasn't based on the film, its title and story seem rather like its from the film?

This is was the auctions description:

Alpine Adventure By George Lazenby (James Bond in On her majesty's Secret Service).

"When Brian and his friends join a party going abroad, exicitment is heightened by the mystery that surrounds Trudi, a German girl who knows little of her childhood. Suspicions are aroused when a tall, dark stranger, dogs their way."

Published 1963, Hardback, dustjacket, excellent condition.

Wow! Great find my man. I searched it on Google and couldn't find anything that says the author was the actor, though.

1963? lazenby was only 24 when that when that was published, you sure thats the right date?

Yes, that was when it was published. Re-printed in 1969 and 1971. I think its very odd?
