That is a sweet looking car. Just itself with no gadgets. I thought the chase in DAD was good, but it was a little over the top.

I respect your opinion sir, though I believe that your continuous criticisms on Craig's performance as Bond are unnecessary. We get it, you don't like Daniel. Almost all of the users on the board think that Craig performed superbly in CR, myself included. Tomorrow you will be getting a lot of negative comments to your posts from the other users, just a warning. I would appreciate it if you expressed your opinions in a civil manner and respected the opinions of the others on the board.

Yeah, sure, Craig crashed that car by himself. And right before that he really died because he has such a weak heart, the poor chap.

Couple Shaken, Not Stirred, By £100k Bond Car
Quote:
http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/di...entPK=19924240 When Phil and Janine Brown first laid eyes on a new Aston Martin DB7, they were smitten. With looks to die for and class oozing from every square inch, who could blame them? It was the sort of car James Bond would take for a weekend spin, with a doe-eyed blonde in the passenger seat clasping a chilled bottle of Dom Perignon. "I would love one of those - that has to be my dream car," said Mrs Brown. Luckily her husband was able to make her wish come true. But since parting with more than £100,000 for the stunning motor, the Gower couple's dream has turned into a nightmare. Mr Brown said the troubles began on day one with a dispute over the agreed price, and continued soon after when he noticed apparent faults with the hood interior. Then things took an unusual turn. Mr Brown, of Kittle, said the car started to develop a mind of its own, shooting off down a hill one Sunday morning, accelerating of its own accord. The engine cut out moments later. "Had my wife been driving, it would have probably ended in a very serious incident," said the 48-year-old, who owns a building firm. And that wasn't the only time the car accelerated and changed gear seemingly at will. On one occasion it seemed so eager to reverse out of the driveway that its wheels ended up buried in gravel when Mrs Brown slammed her foot on the brake. At other times it wasn't so dynamic, cutting out randomly while on the road. "This caused several near-misses and total embarrassment," said Mr Brown. The fault was rectified with new wiring, which Mr Brown contributed £1,200 towards, and the car came back from the garage apparently with assurances that it wouldn't break down again. It did - nine miles later. Mr Brown has gone on to catalogue all the problems during the four years he's owned the DB7 Vantage. The long list includes brake and engines lights staying on, faulty starter motor and water tank, leaking radiator, water squirting over the driver's feet, water mixing with fuel, and power steering fluid leaking over the engine. Even the cigarette lighter doesn't work. Mr Brown has made his feelings clear in three letters to Ulrich Bez, the chief executive of Aston Martin Lagonda. Mr Brown said much of the car's 28,000 mileage has been spent travelling to and from the repair garage, where he's coughed up more than £6,000 in servicing and repair costs, although a number of the problems were rectified under the car's two-year warranty. The DB7 has recently spent several weeks in a repair garage because its owner just didn't want it back. In the end Mr Brown was offered an extra year's warranty so he went to collect the car the Monday before last. It broke down 30 miles later. The following day it was back at the garage. "People ask questions about these cars, and it would be very nice to be complimentary," said Mr Brown. Aston Martin has told him it wants to sort the problems out. The company declined to go into details with the Post. A spokesman said: "It is against Aston Martin's policy to enter into dialogue with a third party regarding our customers, so we do not wish to issue a response."

Die Another Day: How Aston Martin went from basket case to billion-dollar industry
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1889
Licence to thrill: Aston Martin's incredible journey from classic British car-maker to basket case and back again James Bond's Aston Martin DBS is fast. Properly, shockingly, terrifyingly fast – fast enough to dilate your pupils and send your heart rate rocketing. I'm riding in one down a deserted, twisting rural road near Aston Martin's headquarters in Warwickshire. As we round a bend, bodies pressed hard against the sides of the carbon-fibre race seats, I spot the next corner 50 yards away. But in the instant it takes me to notice it, the car gets there. There's a deep, loud bellow from the 510bhp, 6.0-litre V12 engine hidden under the elegant bonnet that stretches away in front of us. Suddenly, we are forced hard back, and nearly two tonnes of supercar and passengers lunge forward as if they were weightless.
