That poll is hilarious Galeweathers. What the heck is Roland Emmerich doing on there. Good thing this is "Favorite" and not best because he's not a great director. The best film he has made is "The Patriot".

Well, from the wonderful list you gave us my favorite is Alfred Hitchcock hands down. He is The Master Of Suspense and is practically the best Director of all time. The others in the list go in this order.

Quentin Tarantino
Tim Burton
Steven Spielberg
Gore Verbinski
Roland Emmerich

It surprised me that I almost forgot to put Alfred on there! I really don't know why I put Roland, I just like his name a lot.

my all time favorite movie is Psycho, however, some of Hitch's movies do drag a bit....

I love Alfred Hitchcock. I used to sneak out and watch his shows that were on Nick-at-Nite during the early 1990's. The absolute leader in horror movies, no questions asked.
