Ok, this week's band is "Oasis".
Oasis have had 7 albums. 6 Studio albums, and one live album. (Definately Maybe, What's The Story Morning Glory, Be Here Now, The Masterplan, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, Heathern Chemistry, and Farmiliar To Millions)
Each album is a gem. Definatley Maybe includes some great songs such as "Live Forever", "Shakermaker" and "Slide Away", which are all very enjoyable. The following album (Morning Glory) spawned some amazing songs, such as "Wonderwall", which was one of their most popular to date, "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Cast No Shadow", "She's Electric" and many more. "Be Here Now" ws the next album, and contained "D'you Know What I Mean" and "All Around The World", which were amazing tracks. "The Masterplan" was an album of some of Oasis' B-sides. Usually, B-sides are supposed to be pretty average/bad songs, but these B-sides are amazing. Infact, in my opinion, alot of them should have been A-sides - "The Masterplan", "Aquiesce", "Rocking Chair", and "Going Nowhere", to mention a few. The following two albums where let-downs in my opinion, especially "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants". However, their latest studio album "Heathen Chemisty" does have some great songs on it, like "The Hindu Times", "Little By Little" and "Stop Crying Your Heart Out". Their latest album to date is their live album, "Farmiliar To Milloins".

Overall, "Oasis" are one of my favourite bands. Let's hear your opinions.

My favourite song by them I think is "Live Forever". I can play a few of their songs on guitar. "Don't Look Back In Anger" is also one of my favourites, and "Wonderwall" is a classic.

Band of the week has been pretty dead lately, so now it's time to get back on track...

This week's band is one of my favourite bands ever, some of you may have heard of them, and some may have not, and that band is "The Cure".

The Cure have been around for 25 years and have had many great hits such as "Boys Don't Cry", "Lovesong", "Close To Me", "The Lovecats", "Just Like Heaven", "Why Can't I Be You?", "Inbetween Days", "The Walk", and many others. They have had lots of albums, and some of the greatest ones are "Japanese Whispers", "Disintegration", "Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me", "Wild Mood Swings", and of course, the greatest hits collection. Their latest single "The End Of The World" is taken from their new album, which is actually self titled "The Cure." End of world was actually a little bit of a dissapointment for me, but lots of other great songs on that album make up for this. For instance, the next single will be "Taking Off", which is a beautiful song, lyrically and musically. So, obviously, Robert Smith has still got it!

Probably my second favourite band after U2.
