Bond`s 21 title sequence
In DAD, part of the 007 torture were played during the title sequence. Its the first time that the movie is played in the title sequence
In Bond 21, should they redo that, or go back to classic nude girls and guns? |

I think the Pre-credits to Goldeneye do the job just fine...perhaps continue to add the plot points of the movie as visual clues in the opening...computer/media for TND, oil for TWINE etc....
I always think of DAD as a 'one-off' Aniversary movie with it's whole construction full of references to the series but the title sequence along with pre-teaser bullet all breaking away and exploding set Bond movies laws for 'one time only' |

The credits of Die Another Day were a complete joke. It was another example of how the movie strayed from the classic roots of the series.
I don't see any reason at all why future Bond movies should use the titles to further the storyline. It should be silhouettes of "naked girls with guns." Another example of my favorite cliche "if it's not broken, don't fix it."

However, if Bond is to continue to evolve cinematically then slight variations on 007 iconic touchstones are required to keep the series healthy & fresh. Perhaps where DAD stretched things too far was by not adhearing to the subtle re-imagining of the credit titles by going full-bore into a narative that 'was' the plotline as opposed to referencing the plotline. I still hold Goldeneye's credit sequence up with the very best of the film series and I am quite a traditional or 'classic' Bond enthusiast. The future titles need to refernce the 'naked girls with guns' ethos, encompassing those flavours whilst still expanding the range of ideas and film technology to remain relevant in tomorrows contempory, competitive cinema landscape. ![]() |

With the entrance of a new 007 in the Bond 21 I think it would be cool to have an hourglass running with clips from other Bond movies like in OHMSS. Or a running clock with other Bond Movie clips. Just to introduce the 6th Bond actor.
