should i go to james bond anonymous?/ am i obsessed?

lately i feel into the james bond universe. i grew up on james bond movies, but never really understood them because I was a kid and just was fascinated by the man. today i work in an office type setting, but i feel like james bond is helping me in confidence.

for instance, i treat life like i'm james bond. simple tasks become "missions". the other day, i was scared to ask a girl out, but then i thought...what would james bond do....he is the man. it gave me courage to ask her out. we are going out this weekend.

i watch bond movies all the time. i go to sleep watching bond movies. when i work out, i watch bond. my ringtone is the bond theme. my alarm is the bond theme. when i drive around i play bond music. i got into shape just for the fact that james bond is in shape. in a way, it's kinda sad ...but at the same way, it's helping me out. i am starting to dress better because i want to be like bond. is this a healthy obsession? do you guys think about living the james bond lifestyle?? even though I know I will never drive an aston martin... i can see myself purchasing a bmw. why the appeal of Bond? I thought about it and I kinda got depressed that I'm "not myself" and just copying a fictional movie/book character. but then I think of what help it could bring to my life. it... kinda is bettering me. does this make sense?

am I the only one out there that feels this. My best friend who loves harry potter understands. all her events are harry potter related. she talks about that stuff all the time. she hangs out with out harry potter fans. kinda like me. i'm starting to talk about bond more and more in public. one friend called me up last week and "checked up" on me to see how i was doing because of the news of bond 23 being suspended .

i'm not a troll.... just wondering if there are people out there that have these feelings. should I "take a break" for a while from this world? it kinda is bettering myself. i honestly don't think I would have gotten that date this friday if I didn't think of Bond. I honestly would think life would be kinda boring without bond being in my life. i asked another friend, why I feel this way. he simply put it.... "it's every man's fantasy to be james bond...who doesn't want to be him." Which I kinda have to agree.

As long as you stay away from the beige safari suits and treat women like it's 2010 and not 1965, I guess it's okay to spice up your daily life with a touch of Bond. Oh, I almost forgot, if you should meet a bald man with a white cat, walk the other way.

haha whew....... that's refreshing to read. yah I'm not gonna go around treating women like the 60's or whatever. i just want a cool "bond girl". hopefully i'll marry a cute russian vixen. heh. just don't want to run into any henchmen anytime soon.........at least not yet. *cue bond music*

I think all of us Bond fans have wanted/still want to be James Bond! That's the appeal of the character, he's the perfect man. Ladies love him and men want to be him. I used to execute my own missions at home when I was younger, running around the house and shooting my finger gun at any commando who happened to be around the corner... Those were the days! It's amazing how much fun you could have! Me and my friends would always play GoldenEye 64, then play it in real life, with water guns. When someone died, we'd always do a cheesy soldier death, like the ones in the game.

You certainly belong here, friend! Just don't let your obsession go too out of hand, or we'll be seeing you on Nancy Grace!

I like you already Blonde. Bond is in my thoughts numerous times daily and I watch the movies repeatedly. I agree with bondfreak, I think everyone here has the desire to be like Bond. Good for you for being suave and attracting the ladies just like like Bond! Maybe that's what I need to try.

I did do a Moore line a few weeks back in one of the casinos here walking up to a black jack table......
