Bond 50!
Well, not the 50th Bond film, but the next best thing!
http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/artic...t=&s=&id=03055 All Bond films on blu-ray on a single boxset, for the first time! The artwork is superb! I can't wait! I knew it was a good thing not to buy the previously released 007 Blu-Rays... this is just what I've been waiting for. What do you think? Ready to upgrade Bond to Blu? Do you think it'll contain the special 2-disc edition of Casino Royale or the long-ago promised 2 (Blu-Ray) disc special Quantum Of Solace edition? Well, in a way it's a pity, because technically it shouldn't be called BOND 50, as it won't include Skyfall in the set. But then again, once Casino Royale was released on DVD, they re-released the Ultimate Editions in a new boxset with Casino Royale included. So, probably I'll wait until 2013 to upgrade to Blu; maybe they'll re-release BOND 50 with SKYFALL included. If not, I'll still be able to buy this edition of BOND 50 ![]()

I only need one

You are probably right, they release this before Skyfall and will release one with Skyfall included when the next movie comes out, so you buy the collections again and again. They did it with the Ultimate Editions. Looks cool though!

Then it will be time for the next one ....All the novels in a box set would be neat or box sets by each author.

I hope that everyone enjoyed world James Bond day. What did you do? I enjoyed seeing a lot of Bond coverage on the news, and fortunately one of our radio stations was playing Bond music all day. So it was good hearing the themes, Adele's Skyfall, and cover versions of the themes, I've never heard Bassey's Goldfinger and Knight's LTK so many times in one day!

I think Bond himself is the key ingredient of the films: the combination of the larger-than-life and his stereotypically British response. When faced with larger-than-life gadgets, villains and situations, he must take all of this in his stride, keep calm and carry on, and, no matter how difficult the situation is, he must not only pull through but ultimately come out on top |

Anyone seen the Top Gear show about 50 years of Bond cars? Is it any good? It's on TV here tomorrow, but I won't bother if it's just Clarckson rambling on about how the communists have ruined the British car industry.

Watched it on TV last night. Good show, but I don't understand why they didn't mention that Lazenby was the first to drive a new Aston Martin, the DBS Vantage V8.
