Bones - 0014

I was thinking about how Sylvia Trench could be Paris Carver. Sylvia Trench was a former lover of Bond, in the early films. Then she suddenly disappears. Then in TND Bond approaches Paris,
"I wondered what it would feel like if I ever saw you again." *SLAP* "Well now I know." "How about the words, 'I'll be right back'"." What does everyone think?

Didn't Bond tell Sylvia, I have to go away for a bit, in FRWL?
Hmm, yea I think he's figured something out here.

In one of Bruce Fierstein's interviews at the time, he said that in an early draft, he gave Paris a line like, " You left me in a raft in the middle of the OCEAN!!!"
I always thought that was a good line, and I'm not a big Fierstein fan.

Why did they kill her? No idea. Motivation for Bond?

Well, I mean so Bond can cry in TWINE, and get all wossy over killing 006 in GE, but he can just see Paris (Sylia) killed and it's like oh paris, oh well, time to go.

Well, no. If Paris Carver was Sylvia Trench, her name would be Sylvia Trench instead of Paris Carver. While they may have gotten the idea from FRWL, Paris Carver is not Sylvia Trench.

Sylvia Trench could have got married which changed her last name to Carver and could have changed her first name as well. That could make it Paris Carver. Great way to keep a low profile, but no Paris is not Sylvia. I'm sure they are two different characters.

Her name wasn't supposed to be Paris originally, either...
Don't ask me what it was, 'cause I don't remember. Perhaps one of you fine Bond-ofiles could research it.... ![]()

I don't think Paris is Sylvia Trench. After all, Paris is American and Sylvia is English. If Paris was in fact a previous Bond girl I figure she would have been Tiffany Case since I could easily see the opportunisitic Tiffany marrying millionaire Carver for his money. Also, both Teri Hatcher and Jill St. John are both adept at portraying "brassy American female" character types and both of their characters share witty repartee with 007.

I found out Paris' original name....Paris...as in "We'll always have...," but her and the villain's original name was Harmsway.
So Paris Harmsway.

"Harmsway" sounds like a very Ian Fleming name. I think they should have used it.
