The Latest James Bond Headlines
Get Me To The Premiere!

So here it is. I have been debating whether or not to write something like this for some time now, and have finally decided to give it a shot. After all, you only live once (twice...you know what I mean).
To Whom It May Concern: I, Thomas Huffner, would like to be invited to the premiere of the 21st James Bond film, Casino Royale. If this is possible, please email me at webmaster@bondmovies.com
Now, this may seem like an arrogant plea for an invitation, but in my eyes, I see it as an opportunity to be a part of something special. As most James Bond fans would agree, the prospect of the upcoming 007 adventure is one of the most exciting in the history
of the franchise: a fresh new Bond, a new plan for the direction of the franchise, the tantalizing plot of the original novel and
the new-found (and welcomed) pledge from the producers to make the film as close to the 1953 Ian Fleming novel as possible.
So why should I even be considered to be invited to the premiere?
To be quite honest, I realize there are thousands of Bond fans just like me who would be honored and would jump at the chance to be invited to the premiere - and as I write this I cannot help but feel a little selfish for writing. However, (and I know this as fact) throughout the past 10 years of my life, my interest in everything James Bond has evolved - from casual knowledge to hobby, hobby to obsession, and obsession to affection. I love James Bond, and hope that this post somehow translates that to anyone who visits my site in a legitimate, elegant fashion.
On a lighter note, I would also like to point out (and I don't mean to brag) that I look damn good in a tuxedo. And even more so in a black-and-white James 'Sean Connery' Bond tux a-la Goldfinger (which I promise to wear at the premiere
) - your red carpet will not be tarnished with my presence.
Regardless, as I mentioned before, if I am not invited to the movie's premiere, I will continue the following path: reporting on
every event in the James Bond world to the fans here at BM. And believe me, I will see the first showing of Casino Royale wherever I am.

In conclusion, thank you for your time, patience and consideration - and also for visiting my site! Visitors are more than welcome to post their comments/criticisms for this post in this thread of the BondMovies.com Message Board.
