'You Know My Name' Internet Leak
Posted on September 20, 2006 6:54 PM
A full 58 days before its release, the theme for Casino Royale has surfaced on the Internet.
BondMovies.com Message Board member Jack Wade spotted the leak on a SendSpace page:

Although BondMovies.com will not promote its spread (as per terms of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA)) the song is sure to spread through file sharing networks soon.
In my opinion, it's a solid song. As BM Message Board member Jack Wade said, it definitely has a rock/Live and Let Die feel to it. I especially love the incorporation of an orchestra. And for the doubters, believe me, it's the real thing!

'You Know My Name' marks the first time since Rita Coolidge's reniditon of the theme for Octopussy (All Time High) that the title song of a James Bond movie is a different title from the movie. Chris Cornell also marks the first male singer of a Bond theme since 1987's The Living Daylights, when the pop band a-ha sang the title song.
