BM Message Board Casino

I'm very excited to introduce a large addition to the BondMovies.com Message Board - the BM Message Board Casino!

What is it?
The BM Message Board Casino is an online Javascript-based game forum integrated with BM's message board software that allows members to interact with each other in a casino-like atmosphere (for free).
Signing up at the BM Message Board (free as well) gets you an initial amount of $250 in "casino cash" to play with at the casino.
As a great way to both promote play and online discussion of our favorite secret agent, players are "awarded" casino cash for the following message board activities:
2. Voting in a poll - $10
3. Posting - $25
4. Starting a New Thread - $50
5. Getting positive reputation points for a post from another member - $100
6. Referral of someone to the Message Board - $100
What games can I play?
The following games are now being offered:

Video Poker is player as five-card Draw poker, with payouts depending on the strength of the hand you have. You will be dealt five cards and offered the chance to discard any number of them for new ones.
After the discard and new cards are dealt your hand is evaluated and paid out based on the chart to the right.

Player and dealer are each dealt 2 cards, dealer is dealt one face up, and the other face down.
The objective is to score as close to 21 as possible without going over 21 (Bust). You win the hand if:
* You score higher then the dealer, but not over 21.
* The dealer Busts and you do not.
* You are dealt a Natural 21, or blackjack (First two cards) and the dealer is not.
A Blackjack wins over a 21 gained with more then two cards, otherwise a tie is considered a "Push" and you are refunded your money.
After you play your hand, deciding to stay, double down or bust, the dealer plays his. Dealer will hit until he reaches 17 or higher.
Payout is 1:1 on all normal hands, 3:2 on Blackjack and 2:1 on a Double Down.
Your actions after the deal are as follows:
Hit - Take another card.
Stay - Play the hand as it is.
Double Down - Double the bet and recieve a 2:1 payout. Take one more card and stay.
Split - If you are dealt two cards of the same value you may "Split", taking each of the two cards as the first card of a new hand. Doing so also requires placing a bet of the same amount on the second hand.

Games/events to be bet upon are decided by board moderators and casino moderators - and can include anything from NFL and NBA games to Bond 22 news and rumors.
In this game, all money bet by players for events goes into a pool which is divided amongst the winners. If outcome "A" has 150 bet on it, and outcome "B" has 250 bet on it there is 400 in the pool. If outcome "A" wins, and you had put the entire 150 in, you would win the entire 400. If you had bet 50 of the 150 you would get back 50 / 150 x 400. Or a 3rd of the pot, as you had placed a 3rd of the bet on the winning outcome.
Payout on the event is always 100% of the pot, divided amongst the winners based on the portion they put in, so there are no fixed odds or odds entered. So if no one bets on the loosing outcome, return is exactly what you put in. On the otherside if someone bets 1 on the winning outcome, and others had put a total of 5000 on the losing outcome, betting 1 gives you a 5001 return.

Buy ticket(s) for $2 each, pick three numbers (1 - 25) and wait for the next drawing to win the jackpots that are around $1000 each drawing! Drawings are held every Tuesday and Thursday.

Classic three wheel slot machine. Payouts are as follows:
3 x Apples 1000
3 x Grapes 200
3 x Lemons 50
3 x Oranges 20
3 x Cherries 10
3 x Strawberries 3
2 x Cherries* 3
1 x Cherry*

Play in this limit Texas Hold 'Em table with up to 10 other Message Board members. Click here to learn how to play Texas Hold 'Em.

Players place a bet and then are dealt 5 cards, 3 face up and 2 face down. At this time you have the option of raising an equal amount, or holding. One of the face down cards is then flipped and you may again raise or hold.
Once both cards have been turned over the hand is paid out according to the schedule on the right.
I hope that this feature of the Message Board will promote board activity (discussion and a surge in member activity) as well as make the BM Message Board a fun place to play some games and talk James Bond.
In no way am I endorsing gambling as a real activity - no real-life currency is involved.
See you at the tables!
