Poster Tidbits and Thoughts
Obviously, the title is missing from the illustration - something that has been done before on Bond teaser posters and, in my opinion, is fitting for a 'tease.'
Bond's shadow depicts him with the same weapon on his person at the very last scene of Casino Royale - an automatic machine gun with an extended butt - a direct nod to the fact that this movie will take place sequentially after the end of the last film. This is a great marketing technique to remind audiences that the story continues down the 'beaten path' for Bond in an epic fashion.
Perhaps the road ahead will be as hard (difficult) as the stone cold asphalt in this image? Is the white color in the top right a sign that Bond will eventually find his 'solace'?
Maybe I'm overanalyzing, but regardless, damn good poster!
