Bond Movie IMDb Ratings
Posted on February 18, 2009 3:19 PM
A thread over at the popular social news web site Reddit inspired me for the following post:
Using good old Microsoft Excel and each James Bond movie's IMDb profile, I have compiled a spreadsheet (BondMovieIMDbRankings.xls) and subsequent bar graph (below) that depicts each James Bond movie's IMDb rating. Enjoy!

Some notes/observations/analyses:
Rankings are determined by IMDb.com users and may change from day to day (when a marathon is on, a DVD is released, etc.) - therefore it is important to know that this is just a snapshot of the ratings for today, February 18, 2009.
All Bond movies (including unofficial ones) were accounted for here, placed in sequence of release date.
Lowest Ranking: Casino Royale (1967): 5.1
Highest Ranking: Casino Royale (2006): 8.0
Biggest Gain (Movie To Movie): Die Another Day to Casino Royale (2 point increase)
Biggest Drop (Movie To Movie): Thunderball to Casino Royale (1.9 point drop)
Overall, I'd say the ratings are fairly accurate to my own ratings of the movies.
