James Bond has officially entered the online social scene.

Sure, we saw random YouTube videos and tweets during the production of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but it seems that now, those at the helm of SkyFall are outright officially embracing social media as a way of connecting with fans.

With their official Twitter (@007) and official Facebook pages buzzing, avid Bond fans can get a glimpse into a Bond movies production like never before.

How "behind the scenes" can it get?? Judging from the production slate below from an official @007 tweet, VERY!

Aside from the production notes and pics, the official 007 Twitter page also features something I'm particularly a fan of: OTDIBH, or "On This Day in Bond History" - which chronicles significant past 007 events on the current day (although I'm unsure why they don't make an #OTDIBH hashtag!)

Bond fans on location are getting more social savvy as well. Pictures and videos from the set are leaking like crazy. An unofficial James Bond fan Facebook page has been keeping up to speed with production photos and news. Check it out by clicking here.
