Analysis
Some pretty telling things come from this teaser. For one, of course, James Bond is interrogated by MI6 about a secretive mission code named Skyfall of which he is probably the ring leader. You could guess before the teaser starts that the interrogator says "I'm going to say a word. I want you to say the first thing that comes to mind."
Bond saying "done" after Skyfall is mentioned probably means that it has already been executed and cannot be stopped by MI6 (or he is just "done" with the interrogation?). As for the image that quickly flashes on-screen, check out the screenshot of it below (click for larger image):
The screenshot looks like an important scene from the movie, perhaps when Bond comes to find his slain MI6 colleagues (we were told that some retribution is to be had for this, and it also explains the eight coffins with the Union Jacks draped over them which are fallen MI6 agents/employees). MI6 probably has a protocol that they wish to implement to deal with the threat, but Bond's own Skyfall is his way of getting his revenge first.
The tense scene is reminiscent of Timothy Dalton's rebellious turn in Licence To Kill and has some impressive visuals of the setting - from London to Shanghai. Eve (Naomie Harris) makes an appearance in the trailer, helping Bond shave (probably before or after a romp in the bedroom no doubt). We also get a glimpse of Ralph Fiennes as an MI6 higher-up who will probably work closely and prominently with Judi Dench's M in dealing with Bond.
At the end of the trailer we see a dark silhouette walking out of flames - presumably Javier Bardem's villainous character Raoul Silva.
All in all, this trailer accomplishes what it sets out to do: "tease" moviegoers and build the hype for the movie. Let's just hope it lives up to it.
