The relatively gadget-low Diamonds Are Forever still sees Q work with Bond in Las Vegas in pursuit of Blofeld. He assists 007 in mimicing Bert Saxby’s voice to talk to an unknowing Blofeld using Q Branch’s “voice algorithm duplicator.” He also plays slot machines in casino, winning consistently by cheating with his own gadget, an electromagnetic RPM controller.

Allies
Felix Leiter
Felix Leiter

Norman Burton played Bond’s close friend from the CIA in Diamonds Are Forever. Burton’s character serves as more of a comic relief in the film.

Charles Gray returns to the Bond series after playing Bond’s contact in You Only Live Twice. Gustav Graves’ plan for world domincation to Die Another Day is very similar to this plan.
