Spectre (2015)

MI6
C / Max Denbigh
C / Max Denbigh
Played by Andrew Scott
Bond is cynical of Denbigh, the newly appointed Director-General of the Joint Security Service (a merger of the domestic and foreign security services MI5 and MI6). He advocates for its pilot program Nine Eyes, a global cooperative surveillance program that he believes renders the 00 program useless. Blofeld eventually reveals Denbigh as a Spectre agent, and M kills the careless C.

Gareth Mallory / M
Gareth Mallory / M
Played by Ralph Fiennes
M becomes particularly involved with Bond and his mission in Spectre, as the approval and implementation of the Nine Eyes surveillance program would render the 00 program that he leads useless.

Eve Moneypenny
Eve Moneypenny
Played by Naomie Harris
A rather somber and nostalgic Moneypenny questions Bond’s actions until he reveals the taped message he received from M just after M’s death – telling him to seek out and kill Sciarra. After this, Moneypenny is Bond’s mole in MI6.

Bill Tanner
Bill Tanner
Played by Rory Kinnear
M’s Chief of Staff informs Bond of the current status of the MI5/MI6 merger, and becomes weary of C’s activity. He eventually assists in identifying C as the enemy and plays a role in his demise.

Q
Q
Played by Ben Whishaw
Q administers “smart blood” technology to keep track of Bond’s whereabouts at all times. Gadgets are few and far between in Spectre, save a watch that “tells the time” and has a particularly loud alarm.

Girls
Dr. Madeleine Swann
Dr. Madeleine Swann
Played by Lea Seydoux
Swann is Mr. White’s daughter and Bond pledges to protect her after White’s suicide. She leads Bond to the L’Americain hotel, where clues there are promised to lead Bond to the Spectre organization.

Lucia Sciarra
Lucia Sciarra
Played by Monica Bellucci
Sciarra is the widow of Marco Sciarra, who Bond killed in the pre-title sequence in Spectre. Bond seduces her to give him information to further investigate and attempt to infiltrate the Spectre organization. Bellucci is the oldest Bond girl in history, being 51 at the premiere of the movie.

Henchmen
Mr. Hinx
Mr. Hinx
Played by Dave Bautista
The quiet yet absolutely brutal Mr. Hinx is arguably one of the best henchmen in James Bond history, both because of his effectiveness and memorable screen presence. After forcibly volunteering for the role of Blofeld’s right-hand man, Hinx chases Bond through the streets of Vatican City and in the mountains of Austria before meeting his maker off a train at the hand of Bond, in an obvious nod to the Bond/Grant train face-off in From Russia With Love.

Villains
Franz Oberhauser / Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Franz Oberhauser / Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Played by Christoph Waltz
Waltz’s Blofeld has perhaps the most personal and historic relationship with James Bond. As an orphan, Bond was taken care of by Blofeld’s (then Oberhauser) father, and the ultimate jealousy was formed. Since that time, the “author” of all of Craig’s Bond’s pain has orchestrated the death of many of 007’s friends. Bond gets the best of Blofeld in the end by refusing to kill him, instead arresting him for his crimes.

Animals
Crows
Crows
Bond is startled by two crows as he searches for Mr. White in a remote Austrian cottage.

Mouse
Mouse
This little mouse was very helpful to Bond at the L’Americain hotel in Tangier, Morocco. Bond spends several hours inspecting the hotel room for clues about Mr. White’s activity there, and almost gives up. 007 sees this little mouse and notices that it leaves the room through a false wall and a room full of the evidence Bond is after.

Gecko
Gecko
After getting knocked out, Bond regains consciousness and sees this fuzzy outline of a gecko in Blofeld’s torture lab. Odd…

Blofeld's Persian Cat
Blofeld’s Persian Cat
The cat makes a triumphant return in Spectre, albeit lazier than ever and not on Blofeld’s lap.
